Kax species guide

Kax
Basic info: Kax are demons that hatch from egg bested upon powerful witches and wizards. They must be hatched by collecting large amounts of magical energy. Sometimes it can take years to hatch and they live forever after birth. They bound with the witch or wizard that hatch them and they create a pact with that person. The person become immortal and they can never leave each others side. They can live in any climates but prefer to live somewhere cold. They also are all hermaphroditic and choose their gender upon birth. Their eggs are summoned from hell and they have no ability to breed. When they hatch you must feed them to make them grow which usually takes a week for them to get to their full size.

Appearance: Kax must have some kind of bird like skull mask and horns. They have large fluffy manes and three toes on every paw. They are extremely heavy and bulky demons and can range from heights of 5 feet being the smallest and 7 feet being the tallest. Their weight varies from 300lb being the lowest to 800lbs being the biggest. On average they have 3 color and plain patterns. They normally look cute and innocent with big round eyes so they can lure prey in. They eye look like black hole with a small pupil in the middle. Their tongue range anywhere from 2 feet to 4 feet in length and are always super slimy. They sweat a think black tar-like slime that also excretes when they come in contact with water. Kax have no inner ear, all you see is fluff. They have no inner ear.

Diet: They eat the extreme emotions of those around them and rotting flesh. Each kax has a favorite emotion that they feed off of. They only need to eat if their magic is getting low but they are constantly using their magic to stay alive. They all enjoy causing mayhem and chaos.

Abilities: Kax each have a different abilities. The different abilities are Causing nightmares, causing minor natural disasters (like mudslides or tiny earthquakes), spreading illness (like the common cold or blisters), ability of hypnotism/persuade, Control localized weather (like making a thunder storm happen or causing it to snow in the summer), and telekinesis/levitation.

Other traits: Kax have very good hearing and can see in the dark. They smell with their tongue like snakes and don't have noses. Their skull masks are soft like cartilage and hide their tongue inside. They don't speak a lot and normally vocalize like their favorite animal. Their horns grow continuously like a rams.
